Servers are down again, at 8:35 pm EST 10/20/2009. On and off again, get booted out, then got back in, now back out again. ACTIVISION, THE WEEKEND IS A REAL GOOD TIME TO WORK ON YOUR SERVERS! When are they gonna get this #*@! straight!

PS Network has a new update (v3.10). Statement on the update is as follows:

“Main Features Revised in System Software Version 3.10

The display method for photos in the [Photo] category has been changed.
Photos are now displayed in a matrix instead of a vertical display so that you can see more photos at one time.”

It is seemed like a good sized download, (however I was downloading 3 other huge files on pc at the time) so make sure you download as soon as possible so you can get back to Call of Duty!

I just noticed you can add colors to your name in friends list in the XMB, it’s pretty kewl………..

The Friend invite “fix” is out in update v1.04. I didn’t seem to have any problem getting my friends invited to matches. It “seemed” to work just fine. There still remains a problem of “rotating servers” to find matches, where one or more of your friends will drop out, then you have to back out (as well as the rest of your team) to pick them back up (very frustrating). I will have to say “yea, it works” but….I am very disappointed that they only had a 15meg file fix for this (after making us wait the whole weekend, supposed to have been out Friday) and we still are STUCK with the XMB. Couldn’t they have just used the “code” from COD4 and implemented that. It is horrible to have to invite 5 peeps through the XMB. COD5 invite system was GREAT, just a few clicks and BLAM everybody is there. Even COD4 worked better. Now the largest game release in history makes you use the XMB???? Hello Activision/Infiity Ward, fix it. It is not that hard to implement a GUI in the game to do this for you. If you guys/gals can’t fix it, send me the code, I’ll get it done LOL. PLEASE fix it, make it user friendly.
