FYI:
I just logged into W@W and found there is a patch version 1.07, 176MB download. I have been playing MW2, but seen a co-worker online with W@W so I figured I’d play a few with him, that’s when I noticed the download. I will try and provide further info on the update.

Well I guess no V.1.04 today, huh. Maybe we’ll get it Saturday. I won’t hold my breath, because I can’t see 3 updates in the less than 5 days of release of a MAJOR Call of Duty Release. Heck, they only made half a billion in approximately 24 hrs, not quite enough to cause anybody to work the weekend (sarcasm LOL). Well the game is awesome, so I guess we’ll just have to be patient………………

Unable to invite friends in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Playstation Network?

Here is the latest intel straight from Infinity Wards website:

Update 1.02 created some problem with Multiplayer (not everyone had the problem).

Update 1.03 fixed the problem update 1.02 created.

Update 1.04 will fix the invite problem (update will be released soon – ETA Friday)

Here is CODBUNKER’s workaround: (at least it works for me, hopefully for you)
- Boot game as normal, auto login, etc.
- Go to Multiplayer
- Go to Screen where you would select “Play Online” (don’t hit it yet)
- Hit PS button to go to XMB
- Go to Playstation Network Tab (one back from friends list)
- Go to Account Managment
- Hit triangle and select sign out
- Hit PS button to take you back to MW2
- Hit “Play Online” (you will get NOTICE, select OK)
- Sign in
- Hit Play Online again
- Hopefully your in
- Wait here and have your friend do the same, then while they are waiting at this screen, send them invite.

This works for me about 90%-95% of the time (it may not work for you, but that’s what works for me)
If someone else has another method that works for them, PLEASE post a comment on your method.
