This is not NEW news, but I just wanted to re-hash it, cause I happen to find it very funny. Yes those peeps out there that took advantage of an “exploit” in Modern Warfare 3 where you could get unlimited “Tokens” therefore giving you unlimited Double XP don’t think it was such a good idea now, LOL Before I laugh too hard about it and upset those that did, YES, it was IW/SHG fault that the exploit existed in the first place; however, they did not force you to make the decision to use it, thus giving yourself a huge advantage in prestiging, etc.. There were many CODBUNKER CLAN mates that I just couldn’t keep up with, and comparing stats, I didn’t know why (I was smart enough to do the math in my head and “new” what they were doing, yet they would deny it) But now those 8-10th prestiges are ZERO. But the kicker which I find hilarious (not trying to throw salt on the wound…..but) they didn’t reset ALL stats, just stuff like ALL your kills but LEFT ALL the deaths, the wins got erased, but not the losses. So those that did this with KDR’s of 2.50 or better are now at 0.14 and Win Ratios of 0.02 It will take until Black Ops 2 comes out for them to get to an EVEN status now………..WOW. That was PERFECT. Here is why I say perfect: I don’t feel that such an infraction hurt anybody but themselves; therefore, I’m glad they didn’t get Banned (I think this would’ve been WAY OFF BASE) but what they did do, IMHO is the perfect solution, because it affects only them.

Ok, I’m off that subject now, I just couldn’t resist when talking a bit about it, cause I see SO MANY Prestige 1′s nowadays and checking leaderboard stats, I laugh every time. In the meantime, I’m sitting at 6th almost 7th prestige, with 1.11 KDR and 4.28 Win Ratio………..ALL LEGIT. Catch me if you can

Don’t get mad bro, Ima jus hav’n fun

Many of you may have already heard of SOPA yet there are millions of you that haven’t, and those that haven’t taken action. The time for taking action is NOW!!!!! Before you think CODBUNKER has gone “rogue” with Politics (we typically maintain anti-political stance and stick to CALL OF DUTY only) watch the video and read this and SHARE it with you friends. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, since it is very strong in the USA’s Legislature and stands a GOOD chance of passage, due in part to Hollywood & the entertainments Lobbying and backing.

What is SOPA?
In a nutshell, the idea SEEMS to be legitimate and worthy, as the main theme is to enable governments to block sites (mainly offshore) that do file sharing of copyrighted material (MP3 sharing, Movie Peer to Peer type sites) which is understandable and “noble” if you will.

HOWEVER, as governments typically go, they ALWAYS go beyond the reach of the initial cause, due to “legaleaze” and has a very REAL potential to shut down most of our Social Media sites (Twitter, FB, Youtube etc…) by holding them accountable for you and I posting something that MAY be construed as “illegal” such as singing a song on Youtube, or having music in the background, or a video clip that the “Big Corporations” deem they have ALL rights to (which could be used to circumvent the “Fair use Act”) The wording in the Bill before our Congress (USA) is vague enough to enable Government censorship of the ENTIRE internet. I don not NEED to tell you what a “GAME CHANGER” for freedom of expression and the death of the internet this would be.

CODBUNKER is based in Virginia, USA and we are personally going to contact the Representatives from this area (Senators: Jim Webb & Mark Warner, and Congressman Randy Forbes, and EVEN President Barrack Obama.) We suggest you do the same as this is a vital election year and you need to let your Rep’s know that YOU will hold them accountable come election time!!!! I use an APP on my Android Phone called “Congress” search it in the “Market” and I’m sure iPhones & iPads have the same type of APP. As far as other countries (non USA) you should get ahead of this and make sure nothing like this is in the works, because if the USA has a bill for it, especially if it passes, then there it will surely be coming your way as well!!!

Many MAJOR internet sites that have opposed this bill are: Google, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Amazon, AOL, Reddit, Mozilla, LinkedIn, IAC, Ebay, Paypal, WordPress and Wikimedia to name a FEW. And many of these sites are considering or committed to an INTERNET BLACKOUT on January 18, 2012 (Next Wednesday)!!!

Modern Warfare 3 has its first Map Pack DLC coming out exclusively to Xbox Elite Premium Members on January 24th, 2012. After this news was announced must admit that I was surprised at how the twitter COD community BLEW UP! Lots of peeps asking why Elite Premium PS3 members have to wait the “typical 30 days” later after Xbox for the MW3 DLC content. CODBUNKER has posted this info many times (as has many others, including VIPs such as Dan Amrich aka OneofSwords) THIS HAS NOT CHANGED the benefit is that Xbox & PS3 Premium Elite members don’t have to pay for their DLC, and will receive it earlier than non premium members; however, it will still be staggered in accordance with a previously struck agreement with Activision and Microsoft which you can see here Previous XBOX Exclusive Deal.

ALSO, it states on the ELITE FAQ page:

“Do X360 and PS3 Call of Duty ELITE Premium members receive their DLC at the same time?

Similar to Map Packs, X360 Premium members will receive their DLC before PS3 Premium members. All Call of Duty ELITE Premium members will receive a steady stream of content released monthly for 9 months through the DLC season, and they will also receive their DLC before non-premium members on their console. “

I do not know where the misunderstanding has come from as Elite, Activision have been very clear, and the word has been put out many times, by not just CODBUNKER, but other sites as well. It is what it is!!! I am NOT defending anybody, I just want all the facts out there.

My personal take is “I don’t like it” but that is Business! MSFT struck a deal with ATVI & SONY lost out. (If anybody’s been left hung out to dry it’s been the PC community, IMHO) Secondly if you want to be mad about something I’d suggest that you pressure ATVI & Beachead Studios as to WHY ELITE is STILL NOT working like it was marketed to do soooooo long ago……….Just saying. I will have an upcoming article on that mess soon!
