Hey, I saw that the posted elevator glitches were performed on a PS3. Does anyone know if they work on an XBox 360 or not?

Dennis, They certainly do! I will have to get an Xbox, I suppose to know the button layouts. Then maybe I can make a post on triangle=x, circle=y etc…. so when I do these tute’s it’ll help xbox’rs…..unless somebody out there knows it off the top of their head, then they can just reply with the “map” of the two contollers here.

I’m on xbox 360 and myself and a friend after reading the “holy grail” elevator glitch spent 3 hours working on it. It’s so hard. You have to be perfect or it won’t happen. But we did manage to get out of the map a few times though consistency needs much worked on.
I’m currently exploring Battlefield BC2. Game is not as good as CODMW2 but will pass the time till the new map pack come out. BC2 is still a good close 2nd to COD though. A worth try for sure.

Bengalfish,
LOL it is “harder” than most crouch elevators but I can get up in less than 20 seconds due to a lot of practice. Another tip is when you line up in middle of boxes and look straight ahead, I point gun to the right point of the diamond on side of roofline. I then get lined up (using my posted how to do elevators tute) with about 6-8 lines of jagged edges (pixels), when I find the “sweet spot” (stand/can’t stand) I switch back to default set pixels to about 2-3 lines, back to legacy southpaw, and within 2-5 times of up/downs I’m in the air.

The Holy Grail glitch has been extremely easy for me, for the most part. What truly helped me was the part about jagged lines and being completely centered. Now, unless I’m having a really bad day, I can get up there in under 10 seconds.
One thing that’s really helped me is using an ACOG sight, since it blurs based on distance. You can use it to zoom in on the line you’re trying to straighten out, and from there, it’s a cakewalk.
I’d been going around, trying to find other elevators. I did manage to find one in Underpass, where the trains are. You can actually get on top of the trains. I’ve had several ‘near elevators’ though, but I’m not sure if they’ll ever become elevators. What I mean by ‘near elevators’ is that the screen jumps up and down for a brief second. If I managed to get the one in Underpass that I wanted, I could probably be on the roads up top. Would be fun, anyway.

Charneus,
There are two elevators on underpass that I know of, the are both by the train cars in the back. The prone one by the boxes/door for some reason is hard for me that’s why I haven’t posted a video on that yet. I can do it but it takes me a while, so I have been trying to practice it when I have time to be able to give EXACT directions (point weapon at this spot, line up here, then point here, etc) so it works EVERY time, I haven’t found that “sweet” spot for EVERY time yet……… Until I can reproduce at will I will not post to only frustrate peeps. This one is real cool though, you can get anywhere on the map forward from there towards the small building with chicken, up in the air the whole time and even get on the overpass over there and out of map. The second one I can get up on fairly easy but it is very hard for rookies, it involves a jump elevator on platform across from the first one I spoke of, after you climb up ladder (I may post this one soon) You can get on top of the Overpass on this side and jump on buildings across from it, and jump down hole in ceiling on the last building by back parking lot.

Sweet! I’m going to have to try to get the first one now. I thought there might have been one on the oil drums (across from the trains, in that dark alcove), and I think there was (it’s been a while), but it only took you to the ledge above the door (which you can get to anyway by jumping on the railing and jumping over to the door).
The second one, I’m very much going to love.

I will try to gather those peeps that add and show this weekend, hopefully tonight Saturday around 5-8 pm EST USA (New York Time), remember If you haven’t posted here, you won’t get added.

Seems I missed it. Sadly, the motel where I’m staying at needs to reset their router… I think, because I haven’t been able to log into PSN for the last few days. Irritating, because I want to be able to do some things, but doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. Will have to catch you some other time.

i agree with codbunker the sencond one on underpass is really easy to do once you get the timing down but it is hard to show or explain to those not familar with jump elevators. I know of one on skidrow that will teach you easily how to jump evelavtors as long as you can do crouch ones first.
If anyone wants me to show them i live in the UK and on most nights, PSN madsurfer365
once u do the crouch then you are in the perfect postion for the jump so no messing about getting the sweet spot on the jump till you get the timing as it takes practice.
