Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Leaked already?

May 7, 2011 in COD8, MW3, NEWS

MW3 (COD8) is going to be announced more than likely THIS MONTH! There has been much speculation, and plenty of “leaks” that all seem to point to the next Call of Duty release will in fact be Modern Warfare 3. The latest of these leaks are:

1. Craig Fairbrass, a regular COD voice actor, (he did MW’s Gaz & MW2′s Ghost) stated on air during a radio show (from the UK):

“I’ve just been out in Los Angeles doing something…I’ve been out doing some bits and pieces, and one of it’s to do with, er…can’t say too much, you know what I mean… You do like five, six, seven sessions…and they record it in this great big studio in Los Angeles, which is absolutely mental. I was at it from January to the end of February, Activision took me to their hub, I was a guest for the day, and they took me all around and they showed me how the game–you know, these games are like $200 million to produce. This place was like the size of 10 factories, there was all these people working.”
He further add:
“And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May.”

2. Playstation Official Magizine UK’s cover was leaked, and if you note the PIC below It shows a “MW” green Number 3 in large letters, and states “The Biggest Game in the World Returns”

According to this latest Intel, it seems that it will be announced BEFORE E3 Expo, (which I figured it would be announce AT E3 which is June 7-9), and more than likely, since the Deal that Xbox has with Activision, The official announcement will probably come from OXM (Official Xbox Magazine). All previous Intel has shown that this will also be joint venture with “damaged/broken” Infinity Ward, “New Kid on the Block” Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software. So check back often or follow @COBUNKER on Twitter for the latest, as it seems the leaks cannot be stopped ;)
