Der Riese Host Multiple Weapons

Here is an update to a previous post of the Host being unable to partake in 10+ weapons. Before we figured out how to do glitch to get the Host 2 upgraded weapons and one non-ugraded. But throw that all out the window. Now the Host can have just as many guns as the rest of the team. It involves the glitch where team member grenades themselves by the gun mystery box. The normal quick revive glitch. POSTED HERE.. The trick for the host is you have to have a bouncing betty. When you start to revive, make sure you have a weapon at the ready (your worst one in case you mess up) then while reviving, when you see the “hit square to take weapon” then let off revive (square) and instantly ready your betty, then instantly hit square to take weapon as betty is coming up. It is a timing thing. With practice it will become just as easy as normal quick revive glitch.

Do you know if this works on split screen? I sure hope so…it sounds like to successfully do the glitch you need to do this all in a fluid motion–let off revive, hit betty, immediately start reviving again before betty comes up. Am I right?

To be honest I have never played split-screen. Nobody in my house but myself would want to play Call of Duty. LOL. You are correct, it is kind of a fluid motion. This is how it works 100% of the time. Once you learn the exact “fluid motion” you’ll get it every time. One thing though is you don’t just start to revive after the motion, cause you are selecting “take weapon” at that moment. You can continue to revive, but what I do (since I’m experienced) is let off revive again after grabbing gun and opening box again to start process over. You can do this 3 times before your teammate is worm food, thus saving them losing more points each time they go down. I am on PS3, I did the math and over a year of NOT paying for XBox connection I save money, plus its a blue-ray player. Personal preference.

Tried this over the weekend, never could do it. I can do the PAP/betty glitch no problem, and the non-host revive/box glitch as well. After switching to betty I could never grab the gun and start reviving at the same time, I would only revive the downed player. Maybe I was doing it too slow?
There is another host glitch that I don’t think you posted about…you need 3 people. The one who is getting the extra gun cannot have a pistol or ray gun…possibly submachine gun too, I’m not sure.
Player 1 will be the one getting the extra gun.
Players 1 & 2 hold grenades and go down, as close to each other as possible…then, a third player stands so that he revives just player 1. As soon as player 1 *starts* getting revived, he needs to aim at the other downed player and hold down the revive button. Keep holding it as he stands up, and he’ll immediately start reviving player 2. After reviving player 2, he should be left empty-handed…I recommend buying the kar98k to avoid getting monkeys/molotovs/teddy bear at the box.
You can do this as many times as you want. It’s pretty good because you don’t risk losing a weapon if you mess up. The only disadvantage is that you can’t do it with a ray gun and you need the co-operation of all 4 players–3 to do the glitch, 1 to watch out for the crawlers so they don’t kill them with their grenades.

The only gun glitch I could get to work in split-screen was the PAP/kar98k/betty one. But 3 PAP’d guns is better than 2! Happy [gun] glitching

You can thoeretically have MAX 21 guns and PAP, but will only work if you do not have the RAY GUN until the very end.
You combine the PAP glitch with “two ppl blow themselves up and one person revives the FIRST ONE TO GET another gun from the box or off the wall (if you don’t have it).” As forementioned earlier someone had 10 PAP guns, I had 6 PAP yesterday.
So to do this you need to be good at the PAP glitch with betty and have 2 ppl help you get a gun.

Seems like I’m a little late on all of this. I just learned about the 3 people grenade glitch last week, and the PAP betty glitch as well. I couldn’d do it for the life of me at first, ( the PAP betty ) until a guy I was playing with explained it in a way that made it clear. The same guy also showed me the 3 ppl grenade glitch and I started doing it EASILY. I got about 6 guns total and then decided that was good for now, tried the PAP Betty glitch with his instructions and it worked the first time. I ended up upgrading all six guns and could not believe how cool it was. I haven’t tried the grenade by the box one yet. The last two days however, all of a sudden I am having trouble with BOTH glitches! It’s pissing me off. I’m trying to show my buddy how to do it and now its not working for me. We played online just he and I and the PAP Betty worked for him on the first try after I taugh thim, but wouldn’t work for me. Also, earlier today, I couldn’t get the 3 ppl grenade combo to work either. Now, I’m reading here that maybe its because I had the Thompson?? I already knew you can’t have the Ray Gun or any pistol, but I didn’t think the Thompson was a problem. I keep hearing that the Host can’t do glitches either, so now I’m just confused. I know the timing for both these tricks, I did them so damn easy a few nights ago. Why in the HELL can’t I do it now???

OH, one more thing. I have been thinking about it, but didn’t try it yet. If pulling out your Betty and hitting square right away tricks the PAP into letting you have mutiple guns, then whats to say that doing that same thing when you are about to buy a gun from the box won’t work?? Has anyone else tried that? If you can trick the PAP, you should be able to trick the box, unless the programmers just did not want to make it that easy for us. Also, these lil tricks are not actually glitches. They were programmed into the code of the game on purpose. At some point, someone on the ‘inside’ started leaking info out on youtube, etc. and thats why we know how to do all this. I doubt if regular players like us were sitting around one day and just thought, ‘ Hmmm, I wonder if I down myself with a grenade, and then you down yourself right next to me, then someone revives me, I hold square and then keep holding it hard and when I revive you, maybe my hands will be empty and I can buy another gun!’ LOL
Its just like the old ‘cheat’ code for almost every Konami game for Nintendo. Everyone knows that one..Up, Up, down, down, etc… That was programmed into the games and someone leaked it or purposely let it be known in an issue of Nintendo magazine and voila…30 free lives to make it easier to pass the game! lol

You cannot “trick the box” with a betty; however, unless you are the host. Then you must do that with the revive glitch in order for host to do it, as explained in the link I responded to on your first post. I agree with some of what you are saying about “glitches” and programming. Some of the glitches are intentional that let you outside maps etc… and some are just accidental due to lack of intensive testing (programming is not perfect) IMHO the betty/revive glitch is in fact a “glitch” and not programmed in. That is why host has to “delay” his machine further than non hosts. It is a timing issue. What you are basically doing is: Your actions on you machine then the time it takes to reach the servers (milliseconds) leaves enough lag that it tricks the server into thinking that you do not have a weapon, so basically it is a timing issue that you are manipulating (I’m sure programmers can fix by increasing the timeframe to execute) but then on the other hand it may be programmed with multiple guns in mind; because, IMO it seems the more guns you have, the more zombies you have to kill and the levels 30+ seem to last FOREVER (more so than with just 2 weapons) pay attention and see if it seems that way to you

IT WORKS FOR PLAYER 2 ON SPLIT SCREEN ALSO. AND PLAYER1 100% FOR EACH
